GESVENTURE, represented by its Sole Manager, Dr. Francisco Banha, is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of personal data subjects as provided for in Law No. 67/98 of October 26 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of individuals with respect to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data. The organization has appointed Dr. Carla Coelho as the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
The organization is committed to regularly analyzing the risks to the personal data subjects and implementing appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. It also ensures the response to the rights of the personal data subjects under its care.
Personal data will only be processed by the organization in accordance with its specific lawfulness, under a contract, legal obligation, or the consent of the data subjects.
Under the service contracts for capital raising for business projects, personal identification and financial data are processed and preserved for a period of 12 years and/or the period stipulated in specific regulations. Personal data of the subjects are transmitted to official entities to fulfill legal obligations.
As part of the quality management system, the organization requests feedback from its clients via online survey platforms regarding the services provided.
The identification and financial data of the organization’s employees are processed under the employment and/or service provision contract and preserved for a period of 12 years and/or the period provided for in labor legislation. These data are also transmitted to official entities to fulfill legal obligations and to the following service providers:
• Centralmed – for Occupational Medicine/Health and Safety at Work
• MAPFRE – Work Accident Insurance
• EDENRED – Meal Card and Creche/Student Vouchers
The identification and curriculum experience data received as part of spontaneous applications, recruitment, and selection of new employees are processed with the free consent of the data subjects. Data from candidates who do not advance to the interview stage are destroyed. Data from candidates who undergo interviews are preserved for 5 years.
Whenever personal data subjects give their free consent for direct communication purposes (news, events, newsletters), the organization preserves the data for 10 years or until the consent is withdrawn via email with the subject ‘Remove’.
Additionally, we collect data about your visits to our website and the resources you access using cookies, as per the published cookie policy.
Whenever requested in writing, personal data subjects have the right to access, rectify, oppose the processing, transfer, and delete their personal data, as provided for in the current Regulation.
Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Supervisory Authority, the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD).
